Problem Note 52769: DBCS characters, like Chinese or Japanese, are not displayed correctly in the Code Editor in SAS® Studio
When you start SAS Studio in Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) and try to input double-byte character set (DBCS) characters, like Chinese or Japanese in the Code Editor, you might see various problems. For example, during the input, the DBCS characters are not displayed after you press the Enter key. They are appear only when you have them selected.
To work around this issue, use a different release of Internet Explorer. For example, you could use IE 9 or IE 10. You can also use different web browsers, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
A fix is planned for a future release of SAS Studio.
